Housed at the Carrick Centre and provided by South Ayrshire Community Transport (SACT) we have a range of transport hire options available:
- Active travel E– Bikes with safe storage and charging points
- E-Car Club Hire
- A six seater minibus (subject to availability)

A day away or a longer stay, Maybole and North Carrick has something for everyone in the family – and we are always happy to see Fido as well! North Carrick lies in a beautiful part of Scotland with a huge variety of picture perfect scenery for visitors and residents alike to enjoy. This area encompasses Maybole and the surrounding eight villages – Crosshill, Dunure, Kirkmichael, Kirkoswald, Minishant, Maidens, Straiton and Turnberry. Each of the villages with their own unique history and stories, just waiting to be explored.
Do you want to hike or bike, visit ancient castles or beautiful scenery? A great hike waits for you in the Carrick Hills, or if you prefer you can take a more leisurely stroll along one of our famous beaches, whatever your pace there is something for you here. After your day’s activity you can stop in to our café for a snack or a light lunch while you plan your fine dining for later at one of the area’s many excellent restaurants. The Carrick Centre is centrally located on the A74, there is a bus stop at our front door and we sit right next door to the train station. You can walk, hike, drive, pedal or ride in comfort to our front door. Come and see us soon.
